Your files stay on your device
When you open a tool, your video, photo, audio or PDF is processed locally in your browser. It is not uploaded to our servers — the work happens on your own machine.
What does leave your browser
The only network requests are one-time downloads of the processing engines the tools need (for example ffmpeg.wasm, pdf-lib, pdf.js or, for AI features, the model files) from public CDNs. These downloads contain code/models only — never your files.
No account, minimal storage
You can use the tools without creating an account. The only thing vedyt stores in your browser is your light/dark theme preference (in local storage). Some features are powered by on-device AI.
